Offline Workshop Pack

Like you, I’m an internet marketer providing services such as SEO, lead-capture, auto-responders, website design etc. to ‘offline’ businesses. While my clients never see me as such, those on the Warrior or LBB forums will know me as ‘Webthings’.

As marketers, we all know that for somebody to buy from you they need to know, like and trust you. If what you’re selling is professional expertise, it therefore helps to brand yourself as an expert too.

And if you’ve been around IM for any time at all, you’ll find that easy because you already know at least 100 times more about marketing on the internet than almost every business owner you’ll ever meet. And even if you don't , you can outsource it all anyway!

Present A Workshop

I know because I’ve done just this and it’s working for me! I don't claim to be hugely rich, successful or experienced at this, but the method is working. It’s working for other people too.

It helps to have the slides and other material to present of course, perhaps listen to somebody who’s presented that workshop before, maybe even have some way of getting people to come to the first workshop too... along with a few other tricks to help establish your professional status.

I’ve prepared all this for myself already, and because it’s easy for me to do so I’m going to share it with you too.

Do I expect to get rich from selling you this?

Absolutely not, and to be honest if I hadn’t already got 95% of this ‘product’ for my own use anyway (this ‘sales page’ being the only thing I have created especially) I’d probably just get on with helping local business owners as that’s far more lucrative!

The Offline Workshop Pack Contents

...and sorry if you were expecting a load of fancy graphics but I really can’t see the point because I’m sure you’re not really naive enough to think that’ll I’ll send you a beautifully printed, multi-coloured cardboard box with two CDs and a number of spiral bound manuals through the mail!

Anyway, here’s what you’ll get:

	The slides that I use in my workshops, as a PowerPoint presentation (it imports into Open Office Impress too), complete with notes. You can use these ‘as-is’, or modify them to suit yourself. At present there are 60 slides and the presentation can last anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 hours dependent upon your style, the size of the audience, how interactive you get, how you handle questions, whether you choose to add personal anecdotes, take one or two coffee breaks etc. How long would it take you to create a 60-slide presentation for yourself?
	An audio recording of me presenting a workshop to real live ‘offline’ delegates, combined with an extract from a teleseminar (webinar) that I presented as an experiment so you can see the different presentation styles. If you’re still stuck for ideas as to what to say after reading through all the slides and notes, although I doubt you will be, then listen to this and hopefully you’ll pick up a few ideas. I’m definitely not the world’s best presenter either, so this will also prove to you that if I can do it ...so can you!
	A 4-page, 33 question, questionnaire that I send to all delegates before the event. The answers provide me with valuable market research into the delegates and their businesses. They also allow me to see if there is anything of especial importance or interest to any of the delegates, so I can spend a little more time establishing my credentials in that area. Above all though, even if I never bothered to read the answers, the questionnaire itself helps to establish me as ‘professional’. Here’s what one delegate said about it: “Brilliant, thank you, it really made me think about a lot of important things that I had overlooked.”
	A copy of the newspaper advertisements that I am now using to promote my workshop. You can use these to generate ideas for your own advertisements, and I’ll also tell you how many impressions they got (the newspapers’ circulation figures) and the number of click-throughs they generated. If you’re planning on advertising in the printed press, the Offline Workshop pack is worth the price for this information alone!
	A stand-alone webpage to sell your workshop. You’ll need to edit it to show your own price and PayPal button, and of course host it somewhere, but that aside it’s ready to go. It includes provision for some video testimonials that you may wish to delete before your first workshop ...and then put back again afterwards. (I recorded mine with a compact camera and host them on YouTube.)
	A covering letter from me with some more observations, results from tracking and many hundreds of dollars of testing, details of where I bought targeted prospects' details for about 15p each etc.
